Alan Ray Bridal Closes
Dozens of customers of Alan Ray Bridal in northwest Columbus expressed their concerns that their dresses were nowhere to be found after the business suddenly shut down.
Kelly Adamson said she ordered her wedding dress and eight bridal party dresses for her August wedding back in November. The total cost was around $3,000, 10TV's Kevin Landers reported. Adamson said when Alan Ray Bridal shut its doors last week, she didn't know where her dresses were and was not given any notice they were going out of business. "I think a little bit of honesty on his part would have been nice," Adamson said.
Customer Sara Lowe said that she agreed."When I first heard about it, I was just shocked, like I didn't believe that it could have happened," Lowe said. 10TV News tried to contact the shop's owner, Alan Ray Church, but no one answered the door at his Delaware home on Sunday.
"Now we are trying to do the best we can for all the customers that they did have that they won't be able to complete for, to make sure their big day isn't ruined," the shop's attorney, Chris Gallutia said Wednesday.
