On September 17, 2011, the Georgetown Cupcake co-owner married Ben Berman at one of our favorite wedding spots ever, The San Ysidro Ranch, in Montecito, California. Besides the Vera Wang strapless Chantilly lace and French tulle wedding gown, the most amazing thing in the wedding is the wedding cake. It is a nine-foot tall wedding cupcake tower made of 5,000 cupcakes by Sophie, all a surprise for Katherine. And at the end of the evening, each guest was given a Meyer lemon cupcake with a hand-tied card attached that read “Sweet Dreams.”
